Most resident installations are being done with LED lighting nowadays. This is because LED lighting prices have dropped significantly with technology constantly improving, and increased volumes and more competition among vendors helping to drive down the prices as well. Meanwhile, energy costs in Ontario have been soaring. LED lights are far more efficient than traditional incandescent lighting or even fluorescent lighting. Furthermore, they are much more environmentally friendly than compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs). While CFLs are supposed to last much longer than incandescent bulbs, are experience with them suggests this is dubious at best. Furthermore CFLs are not dimmable! LED lights, on the other hand, will last for a decade or more and are proving to be very robust. Additionally, they are dimmable (but do require the right type of switch). Our recommendation is to use LED lights whenever possible.
We can replace your existing 100 Amp service with a larger 200 Amp service or even replace your old know and tube wiring, or aluminum wiring. We can install panels to handle back-up generators including manual or automatic transfer switches.

Kohler Residential Generators
Briden Electric Inc. is the local distributor of Kohler backup generators in the Quinte area.
When the power goes out, the Kohler backup generator automatically takes over.
A standby home generator will keep power to your home or part of your home during an electrical outage, and can be done automatically so that even if you are away your home will still have power. This happens within seconds of the initial power outage. Home generators can run on either propane or natural gas.
